About the Artist Talk.

Artist Eduardo Sarabia joins TMR Executive & Artistic Director César García-Alvarez for a casual IG Live conversation that will explore the concept of home and the way it manifests across their practices. This artist talk series, titled Jangueo, is staged in conjunction with TMR’s current exhibition, Aqux, that brings together 23 Latinx artists to re-imagine ideas about home and the ways it shapes our sense of personhood.

About the Artist.

Eduardo Sarabia received his BFA from Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles. Recent solo exhibitions include El Toro y Otros Relatos,Museo Universitario del Chopo (2019); Serpent Party, Museo Tamayo (2016); Ballad,Other Criteria, London (2015); Eduardo Sarabia, Instituto Cultural Cabañas, Guadalajara, and Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Oaxaca (2014); Tainted, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (2013); and Eduardo Sarabia: Moctezuma’s Revenge, Arizona State University Art Museum, Tempe (2014) amongst others. His work has also been included in the Whitney Biennial (2008); the Moscow Biennial (2007); and the Prague Biennial (2003). He lives and works in Guadalajara, México.
