About the Moment.
Under New MGMT is a WOC-owned floral design studio in Los Angeles, CA founded by Alexandra Floro. To celebrate the studio’s 2 year anniversary, TMR partners with Under New MGMT to support their celebration hosted at Chunky Paper in Chinatown, Los Angeles, CA. TMR worked with its partners to provide a curated cocktail bar and a DJ set by Brown Skin Hazel. This collaboration is part of a new TMR initiative that seeks to collaborate and uplift fellow cultural organizations and small businesses in industries beyond contemporary art.
About the Artists.
Under New MGMT is a WOC owned, operated floral and event studio based in Los Angeles. Their work is heavily steeped in their experiences as immigrants, women, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. They aim to take up as much LOUD, BRIGHT space as possible.
Brown Skin Hazel (Sebastian Hernandez) is an LA-based artist, DJ, and mover.
