The Mistake Room's International Curatorial Research Program (ICRP) advances our mission as Los Angeles's international contemporary art space. Envisioned as a long-term and sustainable commitment to our local community of artists and creative practitioners, the ICRP brings curators to Los Angeles for short-term residencies.  During their visit, participating curators conduct studio visits, participate in professional meetings, or deliver a public lecture that introduces our audiences to their work and the contexts in which they practice. This initiative aims to generate a tangible global network of collaborative institutional exchanges while helping broadly expand opportunities for Los Angeles artists abroad.

Our Summer 2016 participant in the ICRP is Magnolia de la Garza, Deputy Director, Colección Isabel y Agustín Coppel, Mexico.
